Cindi Peters-Tanner –
Cindi was born in upstate New York and moved with her parents multiple times, she had 3 different schools by the age of 7. She knows first hand what it is like for families to start over in a new city. In 1985 her family settled in Huntsville, it was at this time Mary Ellen decided to enter Real Estate, so you can say Cindi has “grown up” in the real estate business. Her first job was receptionist for a local real estate company.
Cindi graduated from the University of South Alabama in Mobile AL and went to work for WKRG, a CBS television affiliate, as Research Director in the National Sales Department. After several years and a few too many hurricanes Cindi moved back to Huntsville.
Cindi officially joined Mary Ellen Peters & Company in 2004. Since returning to Huntsville she has eagerly embraced real estate. She is a licensed Realtor, Accredited Buyer’s Representative, New Home Sale Professional and has her E-PRO certification. She is also active in the community. She is a graduate of the first Leadership “Connect” class offered for Young Professionals in the community through the Chamber of commerce. She is presently a board member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Huntsville/Madison County, and is Secretary for the Women’s Council of Realtors.
One of the first things Cindi did upon returning to Huntsville was to purchase her own home – she relates very well to “first time home buyers” and knows all about buying a “fixer – upper”. She and her husband, Jerry Tanner, worked on this project for several years.
She can give you lots of tips and knows what to look for when purchasing.
They enjoyed the process of creating a home together and have recently sold and purchased another "project."
Cindi is an asset to any buyer coming into our market today. She grew up in the area, is well educated in real estate, and as a “residential and relocation specialist” she is available to help with all their real estate needs.
